Annex B – Copyright Terms
01. General
By visiting our site and/ or registering a membership account with us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following Copyright Terms. These terms are an appendix to the Terms and Conditions (Terms of Service) and outline additional Terms that apply to all Users of the site.
You agree to explicitly read and agree to abide by the Sand to Salt Copyright Terms in Appendix B.
02. Intellectual Property
The contents of the Website are protected by international copyright laws and other intellectual property rights. The owner of these rights is Sand To Salt.
Sand to Salt logos and branding belong to Sand To Salt.
Licenses for any use of content belong to Sand To Salt.
03. Copyright
All downloads, content, information and other materials presented on the Website are subject to copyright trade mark right and/or other intellectual property right owned by or licensed to Sand To Salt.
You are prohibited from reproducing, extracting, providing links to or otherwise communicating or making available to third parties any part of the content of this Website or any resources therein without Our written consent. You acknowledge that, by making use of this Website, you are agreeing to comply with this prohibition and that any breach thereof is likely to result in legal proceedings being issued against you.
You also understand that having any type of Membership constitutes a licence for the temporary use of Sand To Salt material for the duration of the subscription only. The License remains the property of Sand To Salt and can be revoked at any time.
You understand that any resources You download from the Website whether through the Membership Service or otherwise are for Your personal use / or direct classroom use only. You must not reproduce or share this resource with others in any form. You may not use your account to download and print for anyone else, as this breaches the account usage licence.
You agree not to redistribute any resources downloaded through the Membership Service.
You agree that any resources downloaded may not be shared or otherwise hosted on any networked system.
You must not use any Product for commercial purposes.
You agree not to use Our Resources for teaching online or distance teaching/ learning (Including, and not limited to: webinars, youtube videos, online courses, downloadable courses).
You must not alter the digital versions of our products in any way. You also agree not to use any elements from the resources with the intent to create new resources.
Resources are for the single and sole use of the person downloading them and any replication or sharing of resources (without written permission of the CEO) will result in Sand To Salt taking action to protect its rights.
Please note that we take the copying of any part of our resources very seriously, given that we invest heavily to produce the highest quality watersports resources.
Once you no longer have an account with Sand To Salt, your permission to use Our resources is revoked, including resources downloaded within the subscription period.
You acknowledge that all materials You download remain the property of Sand To Salt in perpetuity. Sand To Salt strictly forbids the use of any scripted or otherwise automated method of content or website access.
04. Additional use permissions
If the resource has ‘Handout’ in the title, they may be given out as handouts to take away providing that our branding remains intact and they have not been altered or over-branded.
If the resource has ‘Editable’ in the title, they are not intended to be a stand-alone resource and they may be edited and modified. ‘Editable’ Resources must retain the Sand To Salt branding where included and only the intended editable sections may be edited.
Despite these permissions, the copyright of ‘Handout’ and ‘Editable’ Resources remains the property of Sand To Salt and all other Terms remain.
05. Content Submissions
If you send resource ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials, whether online, by email, by postal mail, or otherwise (collectively, ‘comments’), you agree that we may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use in any medium any Comments that you forward to us. We are and shall be under no obligation (1) to maintain any Comments in confidence; (2) to pay compensation for any Comments; or (3) to respond to any Comments.
You agree that your comments will not violate any right of any third-party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, personality or other personal or proprietary right.
With respect to all Content you submit in our Resource Request section on the Website, you grant Sand to Salt a royalty-free, irrevocable, non-exclusive and fully sub-licensable right and licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform and display such Content (in whole or part) worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed.
