The Sand to Salt How To Master Lee Shore Landings Activity Sheets.

These activity sheet forms part of our Lee-shore landings series for small sailing boats (dinghies) and covers the complete technique.

A Lee Shore is any shore with the wind blowing onto it. Lee shores can be challenging to return to, as the wind is behind the boat, making it difficult to slow down and stop. This technique is used by more advanced sailor wishing to recover a boat in a more controlled, seaman-like manner.
