Make a Windmill D.I.Y.

This is a great craft activity that can help youngsters' awareness of wind direction! Make a windmill / pinmill in no time at all by using our cut out template and some basic materials and test them in the breeze.

Our Make a Windmill D.I.Y. is a simple starter activity that parents, clubs and instructors can use to entertain and prompt engaging discussion about the wind, wind direction and wind direction indicators.

Once your students have made their windmills, you could ask questions about the wind direction and what other indicators we can use or follow with our 'Where is the Wind' Poster or our 'Wind Indicator Crosswords'.
