Sailing Game Idea Cards

Sailing Games for children - Stage 2 beginners level upwards.

We know, as coaches, that students learn and retain information more efficiently when there is a challenge involved! So, we've created some fun games for sailors on beginner level courses that will make learning enjoyable and memorable. In this collection there are 4 cards that outline exactly what you need to organise simple sailing games that will reinforce the standard sessions.

This is Pack 2 in the series and covers 4 games that are suitable for stages 2 -4.

Included in this Pack (Pack 2):

• 1 Follow my leader activity for Stage 2 sailors
• 1 game that challenges sailors to improve their balance and confidence.
• 1 game that can be customised for any level of sailor, here we give and example of Stage 3 manoeuvres.
• 1 game that allows students to practise their rope-work skills in a fun race - with an additional alternative for teams.

All games in the cards are created with specific learning aims in mind, and enhance the regular syllabi.
